Betty Knecht believes that strong organizations change lives. With more than 25 years of leadership experience in nonprofit and association management, she has dedicated her career to helping organizations build the structure, strategy, and partnerships needed to maximize their impact.
Her connection to Supporters of Children is rooted in her own story. Growing up in poverty and losing her only parent when she was very young, Betty understands the difference that caring adults, educational opportunities, and community support can make in a child’s life.
Those experiences continue to inspire her commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive. As Strategic Capacity-Building Consultant, Betty is working alongside the Board of Directors to strengthen the organization’s infrastructure, expand fundraising opportunities, develop volunteer leadership, and position Supporters of Children for continued growth and long-term sustainability.
